Dardanup Shire President Mick Bennett celebrates the playground openings with happy customers Abby and Ava Serra.

Jump for joy because, as promised, two of our Eaton Playgrounds undergoing $230,000 in upgrades over the past few months are now ready to rumble.

Lofthouse Park received new play equipment, with a water fountain for dogs and lighting already completed while Cadell Park in Millbridge received new play equipment and shade sails.

Thank you to all those community members who contributed to our online brainstorm on the projects last year by providing their pictures, comments and feedback to our digital ‘Ideas Wall’.

Dardanup Shire President Mick Bennett said he looked forward to seeing the smaller members of our community enjoying the new facilities.

Among other upcoming projects are the Dardanup Civic Precinct, underway (with thanks to funding support from RAC) and set for completion by the end of the year and our new playground for East Millbridge which is scheduled for completion in June, 2023.

The East Millbridge playground is being funded in part by a $75,000 State Government grant and will be located on public open space between Millbridge Boulevard and Dennison Link.
