A draft plan for improvements to Watson Reserve has been released by the Shire of Dardanup for public comment.
The Draft Landscape Concept Plan was prepared acknowledging feedback received by the community during consultation undertaken last year.
It has now been approved by the Eaton Townscape Committee which agreed to seek public comment before presenting the plan to Council.
More than 30 people provided input to the community consultation last year. Their comments were collated and used to guide the proposed landscape upgrade.
Former CEO Mark Chester said at the time the overwhelming response from the community was for the reserve to be kept as natural as possible in character and for the space to continue to operate as an off-lead dog exercise area and social hub.
The concept plan is now available for public comment and can be viewed here.
Alternatively, hard copies of the plan (A3, colour) may be requested in person at the Shire of Dardanup Administration Centre, Eaton or Dardanup office.
Submissions close 12th March, 2019. Please forward written submissions to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Dardanup – Administration Centre Eaton, 1 Council Drive, Eaton; or the Dardanup Office, 3 Little Street, Dardanup.
