Hands up! Who’s been to Eaton’s new nature playground?

Tell us what you think! Blissful winter sunshine this week has provided perfect opportunities to unleash active kids on our new nature playground at the Eaton Foreshore.

Several Shire Staff have visited the playground over recent days and were happy to see it full to capacity, the carpark packed, parents and carers interacting as they looked on, barbecue facilities being utilised and soccer balls being kicked around on the grass.

With planning underway now for an upgraded $300,000 playground as part of the Glen Huon Redevelopment, we’d love to hear your feedback on this nature playground.

Write a comment on our Facebook Page, share your photos, tell us what you would like to see when the next playground opens.

Perhaps you’ve been thinking a coffee shop near the new nature playground would be handy?

Did you miss this previous post about plans for a pop-up café at the foreshore?

The Eaton Foreshore Nature Playground was made possible with a funding contribution from Lotterywest.

We’ll be sure to keep you posted on these projects as further progress is made…
