Take a walk on the wild side and get up close and personal with creatures tall, small, clawed and pawed at this jam packed animal themed event.  Whether an animal owner or an animal lover this is a day for you and you can be sure there will be something for everyone- fur children included!  Entry to the event is free.

Sociable dogs are welcome at this event but must be on leash at all times!

Event Features 

  • Animal related market stalls.
  • Hilarious dog races and games! Will your dog be crowned the fastest sausage eater in the south west? All sociable dogs welcome to take part in the games. Does you dog have an outfit? Take part in the doggy fashion parade!
  • Learn about Australian wildlife – visit one of the many fascinating displays.
  • Get up close and personal with beautiful Australian birds of prey.
  • Meet a real koala.
  • Hold a python and more at the Discover Deadly display.
  • Huge bouncy castle, animal themed face painting and bubbles
  • FREE professional pet photography- bring your pet down for a professional shot (animals must be suitably restrained).
  • FREE therapeutic massage for your dog at the Animal Natural Care stall
  • Get your pooch washed for FREE in the hydrobath at the Scout about Pet Care stall.
  • Sausage sizzle, food vans, ice-cream van & coffee van
  • Best dressed dog competition! Does you dog do dress ups? Join in on the  dog fashion parade!
  • Vote for your favourite ‘Pet and Owner ‘Selfie’ photograph – WINNER receives a $100 voucher to South West Pets Bunbury!
  • FREE Microchipping for Shire of Dardanup residents
  • Register your dog/cat at the event (Shire of Dardanup residents).
  • FREE dog obedience classes with professional dog trainer Katharina from Bark Busters.
  • FREE animal communication workshops with Megan Gay- you need to bring a photograph of your pet to participate.

FREE microchipping for dogs and cats (available to Shire of Dardanup Residents only)

Microchipping for dogs and cats will be FREE for Shire of Dardanup Residents at the event. Available to the first 50 animals. First come first serve.  Residents must present photo identification and proof of residence to be eligible.  Cats and dogs must be restrained with leash/harness. Cats MUST be in suitable travel cage and suitably restrained as microchipping will be outdoors and dogs will be in area.

Owners can also pay & register their pets with the Shire of Dardanup at the event (available to Shire of Dardanup residents).
