General Event Information
The weather is warming up, the sun is staying around longer and we are starting to see things come into bloom.
It can only mean one thing, spring is here which means it is time for our annual Spring Out Festival held at the Eaton Foreshore near the Colin Spragg Adventure Playground. It has been a big three quarters of the year with wild weather and a global pandemic so why not treat yourself by bringing a chair or rug and enjoy a free day out with family, friends, and community.
This year’s event is full of community spirit, springtime messages and a whole lot of challenge and fun to be had for all!

Meet and Greet
- Meet the team from Eaton Volunteer Fire and Rescue and check out their active fire trucks.
- Hold a python and learn more about snake safety at the Discover Deadly display.
- Chat all things Kangaroos and Joeys with Kim from Roo Rescue

Entry and all activities are completely FREE!

Food & Drink
For those needing to fuel-up you can support our participating local businesses selling food and drinks at the event.

Disabled and regular parking is available at the Eaton Foreshore. Keep an eye out for our parking marshal & signage directing you to overflow parking in the reserve alongside the Eaton Hall on Pratt Road opposite the event. There is also ample parking across from the Eaton Bowling Club on Pratt Road- a short 2-minute walk to the event. For safety reasons please avoid parking along the Road reserves on Pratt Road.
There will be an event staff member taking photographs at the event – photographs are used for Shire promotional material and can be found on the Shire Facebook page.
Please let the photographer know if you do not wish for your photo to be taken. If you would like to view and download your photo it will be posted on the Facebook page a few days after the event.
Your health and safety are important to us and we will be working to ensure that we have all appropriate measures in place to ensure our community members are protected in line with latest Government Covid-safe directives.
All activity providers will have COVID safety measures in place.
We ask that you and your family members please respect and adhere to the directions of activity providers.
Please stay at home if you are unwell or have recently been in contact with a positive COVID-19 person.
While at the event we ask that you practice:

– Physical distancing
To support this we have hand sanitizer and handwashing stations located throughout the event venue for you to utilise.
Please note in accordance with WA State Government Health Department directives, this event can go ahead, however, if there is a change to the current guidelines this event may be postponed or cancelled.
