Our Connected Community BBQ's are back for 2023!

Now newly re-branded, Project Connect is part of the Shire of Dardanup's commitment to provide a series of free events throughout the community. Involving a good old fashioned sausage sizzle, combined with light entertainment and stall holders to bring people together in a relaxed atmosphere to connect and learn about topics that matter to you in the community.

Access and inclusion will be the theme for this latest event under ‘Project Connect’ with keynote speaker, three times Paralympic medallist Brad Scott to share his compelling story and work towards building inclusive communities across WA. Attendees will also have an opportunity participate in the Shire’s current Disability Access and Inclusion Plan (DAIP) review.

Project Connect events will be showcasing special guests, presenting and sharing information to spark conversation about community programs and services on a range of health and wellbeing themes.

Thursday 30 March 5.30pm, Eaton Sporting Pavilion 

• Keynote Speaker and three-time Paralympian Brad Scott 
• The Anchormen collaborating with Kelly Hope AUSLAN interpretation of some fun seas shanty's! 
• Stall holders from a variety of community facilitators including, Advocacy WA, Forest Personnel, Grow Eat Cook Inc, SWAMS, Bunbury Counselling and more! 
• Once again, the Eaton Lions Club will be manning the BBQ and providing a free sausage sizzle, on behalf of the Shire of Dardanup for all who attend, first in best dressed!

This is a great opportunity for you to connect and discover the faces behind these amazing providers.
