Come and join us for a fun day of imaginative play in the great outdoors. There are two separate sessions on the day, and you can attend one or both, bookings are essential for each session.
Imagination Village (10.30am-12:00pm Session 1)
Imaginative play is crucial to early social, cognitive and emotional development. A chance to interact with others, understand roles, develop empathy and test out theories. Children and parents will have an opportunity to connect with their imagination to create cubby villages and small worlds, dress up and create a tea party with natural materials, and explore old fashioned grinders to grind up herbs and flowers to make potions.

Picnic Lunch (12:00-12:30pm)
Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy it in the outdoors. No bookings necessary.
A Muddy Experience (12.30pm-1.30pm Session 2)
A hands-on, tactile play opportunity to make, mix and decorate with DIY natural clay and ochre face paints. Stay awhile and let your imagination run wild to create collaborative sculptures from clay.
Suitable for ages 3-12
WHAT TO BRING
Kids are likely to get wet and dirty just as nature intended! A change of warm clothes, towel, water bottle and sunscreen is a must. Dress appropriately for the weather as play will still go ahead if some rain is forecast for the day. Parents are encouraged to bring along a picnic to eat at the event and plenty of water.
OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
Entry is free but bookings for each session are ESSENTIAL. Parents or guardians don’t need bookings – please only book for the children.
Park at the front of Burekup Hall, the event is held outdoors behind the hall.
This is an intimate event limited to only 60 children per session.
In case of very bad weather the event may need to be postponed, you will be contacted if this is required.
