Collie River Night Stalk

While you’re winding down from the day the creatures of the night are waking.

Come and join an exciting night stalk along the Collie River at Watson Street Reserve and see what’s lurking, jumping, hopping and chirping in the natural environment where we live.

Joe Tonga, from Nat Sync Environmental will lead the walk and bring with him some groovy gadgets to help uncover the critters of the night, including his bat detector, scorpion torch and thermal imaging device.

Possible critters to find include bats, owls, frogs, spiders, scorpions, wetland birds and more.

The Collie River Night Stalk will have you walking away with a new appreciation for the natural environment that’s right on your doorstep.

Participants to bring: Comfortable closed in walking shoes, strong fully charged torch, mosquito repellent.

Event suitable for children and adults. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
