Construction company Pindan Pty Ltd has been awarded a multi-million-dollar contract by the Shire of Dardanup to build two sports pavilions as part of the Glen Huon redevelopment.
The decision to appoint Pindan as the preferred Tender was made at a Special Meeting of Councillors on Monday, July 6.

Council adopted a Master Plan for redevelopment of Glen Huon Reserve at its meeting on November 17 last year.
Also included in the Plan is replacement of the existing playground with upgraded equipment in a new location slightly north of the current position.
Funding of $3 million has been received from the Department of Sport and Recreation towards the redevelopment project following a strong lobbying effort by Councillors and Staff to attract State Government support.
Engineering and Development Services Director Luke Botica said a significant amount of funding had being injected into this part of Eaton and the result would be a range of modern new facilities that would integrate a lot more effectively with other development in the area.
