We’ve been working with the members of the newly-formed Dardanup Advisory Group to adjust the town’s Community Facilities Plan endorsed back in 2018.
Now we would like to make sure the rest of the Dardanup community is happy with the changes and shared vision we’ve developed for the town.
So Council, together with the Dardanup Advisory Group – is asking local residents to have a look over the revised draft plan and provide feedback.
The final Amended Plan will serve as a blueprint to guide and prioritise development of future facilities in Dardanup – things like buildings, recreation facilities, roads, paths, signage, public art, lighting, tourism amenities, green spaces and streetscapes.
Providing your input on Council decision-making has never been easier or more convenient with our exciting new online tool called ‘Connect’ which uses a community engagement platform called Social PinPoint.
Think Facebook, meets Pinterest meets Google Earth.
Now sharing your ideas, providing input, indicating your level of support and even discussing the future of your town with friends and neighbours will be as easy as posting a comment on social media.
Burekup residents used ‘Connect’ to finalise their Community Facilities Plan earlier this year.
If you are not able to access ‘Connect’ on the internet, a hard copy of the draft Plan will also be available for viewing at the Dardanup Shire Office in Little Street, Dardanup.
Submissions can be delivered to the Shire office or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org and close on Sunday, February 7, 2021.
If you have any questions, please contact Peta Nolan at the Shire of Dardanup on 9724 0304.
