The first above ground concrete component of the new Treendale Bridge was poured last month by Main Roads contractor BMD Constructions with works progressing according to schedule.
The river remains open to all users and a navigable channel is in place.
Concreting of other various structures that make up the bridge has also commenced, including the abutment pile caps on both sides of the river and the precast panels that form the soffit (underside) of the bridge upon which the steel reinforced concrete deck is then placed.
