Ferguson Valley roads receive clean-up

A group of dedicated volunteers from the Dardanup Districts Residents Association led by Mary Smith were out in force around the Ferguson Valley on Clean Up Australia Day, recognised nationally on March 4.

On completion of their work, Shire of Dardanup Environment Officer James Kain was on hand to assist with transportation of the collected rubbish.

Congratulations and sincere thanks to all who participated.

Over the past 26 years Clean Up Australia Day volunteers have donated more than 31 million hours removing more than 331,000 tonnes of rubbish from their streets, beaches, parks, bushland and local waterways.
