EnLighten
Past Event
The new Eaton Skatepark is set to come alive on the evening of Saturday 1 October 2022, as the Shire of Dardanup presents the digital art installation ‘EnLighten’.
EnLighten will see Eaton’s local skatepark become a canvas for creative expression. Exciting projection technology will wrap over the sculptural forms transforming it into an immersive digital landscape.
Through playful exploration of light the goal is to shed light on mental health by encouraging people to explore our focus question ‘What brightens your mood?’.
The free event is suitable for all ages, bookings are not required. Food and drink options, and entertainment will accompany the display ensuring it is an experience to remember.
Food/Drink
We have partnered with Dinner at Dusk to ensure that all the best food and drinks will be available for purchase. Keep an eye out on the Enlighten Facebook event for the announcement of food trucks that will be coming!
Entertainment
There will be lots of free entertainment including:
- Facepainting - LifeLine WA
- Live Music
- All the Lights – Free hula hoops workshops
- Photobooth & Free mini portrait by Sheree Dohnt
- Interactive mental health service stalls AND … as the sun goes down, the Skate Park will come alive!
Event Photography
There will be an event volunteer taking photographs at the event – photographs are used for Shire promotional material and can be found on the Shire event Facebook page. Please let the photographer know if you do not wish for your photo to be taken. If you would like to view and download your photo it will be posted on the event Facebook page a few days after the event.
Event Parking
Ample parking is available close to the event at the Eaton Administration Building – 1 Council Drive, or Eaton Fair.
COVID-19
The health and safety of all visitors remains the Shire’s number one priority. We will continue to ensure the outdoor event complies with all State Government directives concerning COVID-19. While at the event, we ask that you practice:
- Good hand hygiene - to support this, we have hand sanitiser stations for you to utilise.
- Don't attend if feeling unwell
